November - TrueNorth® was established with the merger of Davis Jones Lamb Insurance, Insurance Service Corporation, and Verhille & Associates. This merger created the largest financial services firm of its kind based in Eastern Iowa.

Opened an office in Cedar Falls, IA

January - Opened a location in Ft Worth, TX

February - TrueNorth grew DSM presence by partnering with Frank Berlin and Associates, a local Employee Benefits provider

August - Extended footprint in the DFW area by acquiring Employer Planning Services (EPS), a local Employee Benefits firm

October - First MainStreet Insurance in Longmont, CO becomes part of TrueNorth

December - RJ Lee and Associates and TrueNorth partner to provide employee benefit solutions in the Quad Cities

January – Meeker-Magner, a long-standing Chicagoland insurance firm becomes a part of TrueNorth.

August – CSB Insurance Group and Rowles Hayes Carney (RHC) are acquired, further expanding TrueNorth's presence in the greater Des Moines area.
